Big
Little Books first appeared in 1932 from the Whitman
Publishing Company of Racine, WI. They featured captioned
illustrations opposite each page of text and originally
sold for one thin dime! The first Lone Ranger Big Little
Book appeared in 1935 entitled "The Lone Ranger and
His Horse Silver." Here are some from my collection.
